Bibloo (hereinafter “we”) attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your information when you use our app and our services.
We collect the following data: (a) Identification data: first name, email address, country; (b) Usage data: progress through the books, scores, streaks, session history; (c) Payment data: sent straight to our payment partners (Orange Money, MTN, Wave) — we store no card number.
Your data is used to: personalize your playing experience, show your results in the leaderboards, improve our memorization algorithms, send you daily reminders (if you have turned them on), and contact you in the event of a technical or billing problem.
We never sell your personal data. It may be shared only with: our technical providers (hosting, analytics), our payment partners to process your transactions, and the competent authorities where the law requires it.
Bibloo is a game played with others: your FIRST NAME, your PROFILE PICTURE, your COUNTRY and your SCORES are visible to other players — in the leaderboards, in opponent search and during matches. At the end of a duel, either player may share the result: the application then produces a result page reachable by link and an image carrying those same elements, meant to be posted (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram…). Your email address, your full name and your payment details NEVER appear there and are visible to no one but you. The picture is optional: you may remove it at any time from your profile, and it disappears from the pages and images generated thereafter — an image already published by someone, however, can no longer be recalled.
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. A deletion request opens a 7-day grace period during which the account can still be restored; after that, your personal data is erased, except for billing data, kept for 5 years in line with legal obligations.
In line with applicable law, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@bibloo.uk. We undertake to reply within 30 days.
We put technical and organizational measures in place to protect your data: encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), strict control of internal access, regular security audits, and storage in certified data centers.
The Bibloo app uses only functional cookies, essential to your session: keeping you signed in, protecting against request forgery, and remembering your language. Bibloo sets no advertising cookies and uses no third-party analytics service.
We may update this policy at any time. You will be notified by email or in the app if there is a significant change. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page.
